      Phonics They Beg For!

How it Works
Reading Skills and Benefits of Phono

Phono is similar to Bingo, only easier! It’s as simple as watch, listen, trace. This enjoyable game quickly builds a strong foundation for literacy. It’s scientific design eliminates extraneous cognitive load. Phono is a “bare-bones’ program and presents, “just the facts” necessary to learn how to read. It creates a foundation that births the knowledge to naturally read and spell.

Candace Hawkins, Neurodevelopmenalist and President of Liberty Consultants states, I like the no frills, the clear presentation of it, the hearing and seeing and games. It is very thorough.  I appreciate your contributions to excellent curriculum!"

Kids love Phono! Parents love its simplicity. Bring the joy of reading to someone you care about. Download your copy today and prepare for a rewarding journey.

Phono  phonics helps to develop a sense of high self-esteem.  There is absolutely no guesswork in Phono.  The sound and picture of that sound (the phonogram) is displayed on the phonics game DVD. Players then match what they see and hear to the letters on their playing cards. Players have the opportunity to "fill" (trace each phonogram) on their card during the game.
 Phono
phonics is set up as part of the learning environment.  Interest in letters and learning to read draws individuals to this multisensory learning game. Those who are eager to read and write letters enjoy this positive approach to learning. Reading skills develop naturally just by playing the Phono phonics game!

The skill area of language builds on the foundational phonograms learned while playing Phono. The natural process of learning to encode and decode words is enhanced.

Phono phonics provides the freedom to learn in the developmental time frame that is right for each individual.  All the phonograms are displayed during the game. The opportunity to learn what is innately possible for each individual is given while playing Phono.

Patterns of concentration are reinforced by playing the Phono  phonics game.  Players learn to look at the phonogram, listen for its sound, and rehearse that sound in their mind while looking for it on their Phono playing card. This is similar to Bingo. If the phonogram is found on the playing card, it is traced with a writing utensil.

How does Phono phonics Work? As Easy as 1-2-3!

1. Students hear the sounds clearly (auditory).

2. Students simultaneously see (visual) the letters that they hear while looking for them on their Phono phonics game card. As students say (repeat) the letters and sounds to themselves. This process develops thinking skills and increases the students attention span.

3. Students trace (tactile) the letters on their cards that they have seen and heard. This process completes the multisensory approach to learning. (see, hear, say, touch)

In addition to playing the Phono phonics game, a Reading & Spelling book is also offered that is fully indexed for the parent, teacher and student to quickly find specific reading and spelling rules. This book includes more than 1570 vocabulary words and over 300 practice sentences.
